DOT To Close Exit 8B on Rte. 295 For Drainage Work July 17 - 19

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) will temporarily close Exit 8B off of I-295 North in Smithfield for drainage work on Tuesday, July 17, Wednesday, July 18 and Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.  Exit 8B leads to Route 7 North towards North Smithfield and Bryant University.

During the closure, motorists are advised to take Exit 9 (Route 146) to I-295 South to Exit 8B.
