In 2000, Gary Mullen won the grand finale of the British celebrity impersonation program, ITV's Stars in Their Eyes. Mullen received a record of 864,838 votes. This was the most votes ever received in the history of the show.

After his television success, Gary Mullen formed his band, "The Works" in 2002. Along with his band, Gary delivers the look, the sound, the pomp, and the showmanship of arguably the greatest live band of all time. With spectacular lighting and special effects, Gary Mullen and The Works recreate and celebrate the music of Queen. These timeless anthems that ruled the charts are performed and are such hits as, "We Will Rock You", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Another One Bites the Dust", "Fat Bottomed Girls", and "We are the Champions", I Want to Break Free, Somebody to Love, Radio Gaga, and so many more!

Over the last decade, One Night of Queen performed by Gary Mullen and The Works have toured the world non-stop performing in theaters, arenas, and festivals to sell-out crowds in the USA, UK, Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, New Zealand, and South Africa, to name a few.

Gary Mullen and The Works have been invited twice to perform at BBC's Proms in the Park event in London's Hyde Park alongside Andrea Bocelli,Katherine Jenkins, and legendary Barry Manilow. Their performance was described as the "highlight of the day" in front of 45,000 screaming and adoring fans. This performance cemented their reputation as being much more than a tribute band.
