Finally Friday Five: Council, Trash Pickup, Cash Mob, Cars
Here are some things to know today and Monday before you get ready for the weekend.

Council - The Woonsocket City Council meets Monday night, 7 p.m. in Harris Hall at City Hall. Among the items on their agenda, (see attached .pdf) they'll consider legislation authorizing a bid for the reconstuction of Cumberland Street, Maple Street and a portion of Hamlet Ave. DPW Director Sheila McGauvran has recommended the councilors award the job to the low bidder, Cardi Corp., at $443,226. The Council will also consider second passage of a resolution banning smoking in city parks.
Holiday trash scheduleΒ - Β Residents are reminded that curbside pick-up of trash, recycling and yard waste fromΒ May 27 to May 31 will be delayed by one day due to the long Memorial Day weekend.

Cash Mob, Cash MobΒ - Whatcha gonna do when they come for you? Smile ear to ear, if you're like most businesses. The next Cash Mob in the city isΒ Monday, June 3. The gathering location will be at 186 Cass Ave. in Woonsocket (parking lot across form LandmarkΒ Medical).Β
The two mystery businesses to be mobbed will be announced promptly at 6:15 p.m.Β The Cash Mob concept is simple. The idea is to gather a large group of people, mobbers, who agree to spend $20 at each venue.
