Friday: Memorial Day, Circus and City Jobs

Good morning Woonsocket. Here are a couple of upbeat things to focus on before the weekend starts:

Memorial Day - The Memorial Day Parade is Monday, but it's important enough to warrant a little advance notice here and there. But definitely here. Don't forget to come out and show your respect for those who gave their lives serving the country.

Circus - Picadilly Circus is in town. Motorcycles defy gravity, showgirls on stilts tower above the audience and giant wheels of death rotate at breathtaking speeds. It beats politics any day.

City jobs - The Woonsocket Personnel Department is seeking to fill four positions: Water Heavy Equipment Operator, Water Division Meter Reader,  Water Division Meter Foreperson and Fire Alarm Superintendent.
