Internal Affairs Investigates After You Tube Video Posted
The police department today learned about the video which, it says, was posted on You Tube.

WOONSOCKET, RI — Internal Affairs is investigating a police response that apparently was recorded on video and posted on YouTube, Woonsocket police said today.
According to the press release from police Chief Thomas F. Oates III, " the Woonsocket Police Department was made aware today of a video posting on Youtube of Woonsocket Police Officers who came upon a disturbance in a parking lot in the area of 11 Hamlet Ave."
Oates said the department believes the incident on the tape happened during the early morning of Oct. 15. At that time, three people were arrested.

The Chief said Internal Affairs is also studying all the documents connected to those arrests.
