Library Hours
 The library will be closed on Monday, September 3rd for Labor Day. Saturday hours will resume September 8th. The library’s regular hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Legos Needed
The Children’s Department would like to start a Lego Club, and they are looking for donations of legos. If have any legos at home that are not being used, please consider donating them to the library!
Two Old Friends
Saturday, September 15, 2 p.m.
Two Old Friends from York, Maine, Mac McHale and Emery Hutchins, have joined forces to sing and play songs from Ireland, the mountains and the sea. They will be playing banjo, guitar, mandolin, concertina, bodran, and the octave mandolin. Nooks
The library is now circulating Nook e-readers. To request a Nook, please fill out a form at any service desk (Circulation, Reference, Young Adult or Children’s). Online forms are now available on our website. Reservations by the library's catalog are not available at this time. For more information, please contact 769-9044.
Adult Knitting Circle
Thursdays, 7-8:30 p.m.
Knitters and crocheters of all levels of experience are invited to attend this crafting circle. Led by experienced knitter and crocheter, Jen Grover.
Northern Rhode Island Camera Club Meeting
Thursday, September 6, 7 p.m.
This purpose of this group is for people interested in photography to get involved locally. We hope to plan workshops, field trips, meetings, and competitions.

Anime Night
Wednesdays, 6-8 p.m.
Anime is a unique form of Japanese storytelling through animation. Join fellow otaku for an evening of popular anime series and films. For ages 12-18.
Creative Writing Group
Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m.
Local writers will have an opportunity to meet weekly to share support, suggestions and criticism. This will be an informal gathering of both published and unpublished writers who might find a group useful for incentive and inspiration. There is no charge to join. Written Word Writing Group
Thursdays, 7:15 p.m.
