Local Man Arrested for Possession and Transfer of Child Pornography

Members of the Rhode Island Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force arrested a Woonsocket man Monday.

ICAC arrested Kirk Horne, 62, for possession of child pornography and transfer of child pornography, according to a recent press release.

The Internet connection at 81 Grand Street, Unit 2, was identified as allegedly sharing images and videos of child pornography. A court-authorized search warrant was executed on September 24. Horne was identified as the alleged owner of the digital media.

Horne was released on $3,000 surety bail with special conditions to include no unsupervised contact with children under the age of 18 and no access to the Internet. His next scheduled court date is December 17 for a pre-arraignment conference.
