Monday: Zoning, Raining, Track and Moon

It's the start of another week - make sure you don't leave the house without knowing these 5 things:

Zoning - The Zoning Board will meet tonight in Harris Hall at City Hall, 7:30 p.m. Stop in and see what your neighbors may be planning for their properties.

Girls Track - Come out and cheer on the Woonsocket High School Varsity Girls' Outdoor Track team at today's home event, 4 p.m. at Dionne Park versus Central Falls High School.

Flying flags - The Woonsocket Fire Department is seeking donations of United States flags to be flown in honor of your loved one of the four fire stations. Anyone wishing to donate a flag please contact  Karen at 765-2500 ext. 6660.

Moon shot - On this day in 1962, according to brainyhistory.com, Ranger 4, the first U.S. satellite to reach Moon, launched from Cape Canaveral.

Rain, rain, go away - It's still raining today. Temps will reach about 48 degrees. On the bright side, it will feel good when it stops.
