Monday: Budget Commission, Council, Committee And Calendar

Budget Commission - The Woonsocket Budget Commission meets again this morning, 8 a.m. at Woonsocket City Hall, third floor. They're meeting next on Wednesday, same spot, but at 3 p.m.

City Council - Tonight the Woonsocket City Council will meet for a public hearing on the proposed 2012-2013 buget, at 7 p.m. in Harris Hall.

School Committee - The Woonsocket School Committee meets today (see attached agenda) to discuss, among other things, re-posting an ad for a financial controller and/or finance director. The Budget Commission asked them last week to find someone who can grasp department finances and inform the Commission on the topic. The Committee will also spend some time in executive session to discuss "job performance".
