Welcome to Monday, Woonsocket - Here are a few things to know:

City Council - The Council meets tonight at Woonsocket City Hall, third floor, 7 p.m. ON their agenda is a request from Verizon to put a pole in at 500 Park East Dr., a request from Narragansett Electic to put in a pole push brace on the pole at Merill Court. They'll also consider a request to apply $150,000 in Local Equity Aid Program (RI-LEAP) funds to Maple Street instead of Cherry Hill Avenue (see attached .pdf).

Just Play - The is running 9 a.m. to noon today at Cass Park. Activities will include Horse shoes, relay races, badmitton, games and crafts.

Classic cars - Show up at Patriot's Diner, 65 Founders Dr., tonight at 5 p.m. for Classic Car Cruise Night. Take a trip down Memory Lane at a nostalgic '50s diner with vintage cars.
