Recycling Tip Stickers Available For Citizens' Carts

Recycle Dos, Don'ts have been applied to many carts during collection days.

New program stickers have been printed that can be applied to the top of the recycle carts explaining the Do’s and Don’ts of what recyclables can be placed into the carts based on the new changes made at the Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation.

The city, in conjunction with a six-week Family Resources Youth Employment Program, has been applying the stickers to recycle carts that have been placed out for collection.  However, due to the amount of the carts throughout the city, not all the carts will be able to have the stickers applied.
