Spot Woonsocket In ABC's Body Of Proof
Tune in every Tuesday night at 10 p.m to see if you recognize any familiar locations
ABC premiered their highly anticipated new show "Body of Proof" this week, filmed in Rhode Island with some shots right here in Woonsocket, and viewers will have an extra chance to view local landmarks in a special showing tonight at 10 p.m.
The crew celebrated in style at the premiere party Tuesday night at Local 121 in Providence. Steven Feinberg, Deputy Director of RI Film and TV, was joined by crew members and excited guests to watch the first episode.
"We have had a lot of positive feedback from Rhode Island residents showing their pride," said Feinberg regarding the show being filmed entirely in the Ocean State.

When asked about the various locations in Rhode Island that were used for many a screen shot, Feinberg replied, "We used Rhode Island as our canvas. While a majority of the show was filmed in Providence, we also shot in multiple locations including Woonsocket, Newport, and Cumberland. You will see Main Street, the overpass and various locations throughout Woonsocket where the historical beauty shines through. You'll just have to watch and see."
As guests continued to arrive, the staff of the RI Film and TV office greeted one another with congratulatory handshakes and laughter, celebrating a year of hard work that was finally coming together. By 9 p.m. the room was filled with excitement as decadent homemade appetizers and vodka punch began making the rounds to each table.

"It's going to be a great night. I am so glad all of you could make it," Feinberg said, addressing the crowd.
As ABC began setting up for their newscast, Windell Middlebrooks, who plays Dr. Curtis Brumfield on the show, stopped by for a surprise visit and a kind word. "There is no place I'd rather be tonight then here in Providence," said Middlebrooks.
All in all the night was a success, with an amazing turnout. "Hopefully Rhode Island residents will show their loyalty and help boost the ratings," said Feinberg with a smile.
Make sure to tune in tonight for a special second episode, and every Tuesday night at 10 p.m., and to catch Woonsocket in the spotlight.
