Teens Honor Veterans with Town Park Project
Donations are being accepted to fund the building of the Woonsocket Armed Services Park.

Jennifer Lepine and her twin brother Chris are raising thousands of dollars to build a memorial to all veterans on Davis Avenue in Woonsocket.
The Providence Journal reported that the 17-year-old pair, from Cumberland, organized 50 volunteers last weekend to help build the Woonsocket Armed Services Park on a half-acre site at an entrance to the Blackstone River Bikeway.
The project will fulfill part one of the requirements for Jennifer to become a Gold Award Girl Scout. Chris will submit the task to earn Eagle Scout status.
