Woonsocket Officer Under Investigation
Officer Patrick McGourty was placed on administrative duty for alleged crime in Mass.
Woonsocket Police Officer Patrick McGourty has been charged with a violation of the law in a Massachusetts community, police said.
McGourty, a nine-year member of the Woonsocket Police Department, has been placed on administrative duties pending an administrative investigation, according to a recent press release.
The crime or community has not been specified. The department has no further comment as of the afternoon of Friday, Nov. 7.
