Woonsocket Police Log: Neighbor's Sign Leads To Assault
The following arrest information was supplied by the Woonsocket Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Sign warns of neighbor's ills
Robert Duhaime, 57 of 22 Dexter St. was arrested on Thursday after an incident involving his downstairs neighbor, Richard Unwin. According to reports, Unwin had hung a sign on the side of the men's shared apartment building warning police of Duhaime's supposed prostitute and drug activity. Unwin and a friend were hanging lights to illuminate the sign when Duhaime came home. The men, who drove separately to the Woonsocket Police Department just after the incident, gave varying reports of how things turned violent, though Unwin and his coworker Mike Massotti told officers that Duhaime walked up saying "take that sign down" and then punched Unwin in the mouth. Duhaime was charged with simple assault and one sign, pictured here, was still hanging on the building as of Friday afternoon.

Angela Cabral, 35, of 43 Ronian St. was arrested at Brews and Cues on Wednesday after a bartender called to report unruly customer behavior. The bartender and a witness told officers that Cabral and her boyfriend Albert Mariano got into a loud screaming match in the bar then Cabral threw her beer at him. Some of the beer reportedly hit the bartender, staining her shirt and Cabral allegedly proceeded to knock down bar stools while continuing to yell.
When police arrived, they found Cabral behind the building and according to reports, she said, "I don't deal with police. You can go arrest a prostitute or pedophile or something." The victim, Mariano, allegedly tried to restrain Cabral and was covered in scratch marks, including a two inch long gouge on his bicep. Cabral reportedly protested throughout the arrest yelling "it's none of your business" and continued to berate police throughout the booking, swearing and slamming her feet. Â
