• More than 100 pounds of litter removed from Riverland Park neighborhood in Cayce (westmetronews.com) — A weekend cleanup in Cayce’s Riverland Park neighborhood pulled more than 100 pounds of litter off the streets, bringing District 2’s total to over 1,200 pounds removed. Led by Councilman Byron Thomas with help from Councilwoman Tiffany Aull, neighbors, business owners, and Brookland-Cayce High’s Sustainability Club pitched in to protect the Congaree River and spruce up the community.
