• South Carolina SBC pastor arrested for child sex crime (roysreport.com) — Residents should know that the longtime pastor of Taylor Street Baptist Church in Cayce has been arrested on a felony charge tied to alleged sexual exploitation of a minor, after investigators say they found explicit images of children on his phone. State authorities are now handling the case, the church has taken down its social media on law enforcement advice, and members say they are cooperating fully with investigators.
   

• Undercover sting leads to 14 arrests in online sexual exploitation case (wach.com) — A multi-agency undercover sting led by Irmo police has resulted in 14 arrests statewide, including one suspect listed as being from Cayce, on charges tied to alleged online sexual exploitation of children. Officers posed as minors to intercept people seeking sexual encounters, and investigators say the work is ongoing while urging anyone with tips to contact law enforcement.
