CHARLESTON - The 9U and 10U Cal Ripken Youth Baseball S.C. State Playoffs are taking place this weekend at <a href="http://standrewsparks.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">St. Andrews Parks and Playgrounds</a>' facilities on Playground Road. Four teams, including the West Ashley All-stars are facing off in the 9U division. The 10U division includes nine teams, one of which is also West Ashley All-stars. In addition to the West Ashley teams two other local teams are competing in each division with teams from all over the state. The first round began Thursday afternoon. The games will run through Sunday, Assistant Athletic Director Billy Klauss said.  Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students, and children younger than 6 get in free.
