'Rest easy, Deputy Hendricks': CCSO sets up memorial patrol vehicle for deputy killed in line of duty (counton2.com) — Charleston County residents are invited to honor Deputy Michael Hendricks at a memorial patrol vehicle set up outside the Sheriff's Office headquarters on Leeds Avenue in North Charleston. Hendricks was killed in a duty-related collision on Ladson Road, and the agency is welcoming the public to stop by, leave flowers, and pay their respects in the coming days.
   

2. Charleston County School District kicks off town hall meetings, parents raise technology concerns (live5news.com) — Charleston County families are being invited to new school district town halls where leaders are addressing concerns about classroom technology, including student exposure to YouTube and artificial intelligence. The district is rolling out an AI policy and a Lightspeed portal to help parents monitor tech use, while also outlining goals for literacy, math, special education, and college and career readiness.
   

3. Kulture Klash 11 brings Juicy J, Project Pat to Navy Yard Charleston (abcnews4.com) — Charleston residents can look forward to Kulture Klash 11 bringing Juicy J, Project Pat, and dozens of artists to Building 64 at Navy Yard Charleston on November 14. The multi-stage arts and music festival, preceded by a free art reception on November 13, will showcase local creatives while raising funds for the Livity Foundation's cultural programs across the Lowcountry.
   

4. Stono River oyster reef project shows growth after one year (live5news.com) — Work along Charleston's Stono River is already paying off, with new oyster growth covering man-made reefs that volunteers installed to fight erosion and protect marshes. The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources says each reef can host thousands of oysters, which help stabilize shorelines, filter water, and create habitat for more than 120 species as part of a growing living shoreline.
   

5. RiverDogs' Late Rally Falls Short, Division Series Even at a Game Apiece (live5news.com) — Charleston baseball fans will see a winner-take-all Game Three at The Joe after the RiverDogs' late rally fell just short in a 4–3 loss to Hickory. Strong relief from Jacob Kuhn and late-inning doubles kept Charleston close, setting up Friday night's decisive home matchup with coverage starting at 6:50 p.m.
