ECPI University Columbia Campus Announces New Electronics Engineering Technology Associates Degree Program

Richmond, VA – ECPI University is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for its new Associate of Applied Science in Electronics Engineering Technology degree. This program is intended to prepare graduates to install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment. Graduates typically seek work in a variety of related industries, both public and private sector, including:
- Automation and Manufacturing
- Aerospace
- Automotive
- Computer
"Electronic technology engineers in service-related areas are proving to be the fastest growing of all the sectors within the industry,” says ECPI Columbia Campus President Jim Rund. “Due to the proliferation of electronic devices in telecommunications, environmental, manufacturing, and advanced technology industries, jobs in electronics technology engineering are increasing in the Midlands. This new program will drive workforce development, enhance the local economy, and keep the region competitive in attracting technology-based companies.”
