A second Bubble Tea Cafe location is expected to open later this month near the University of South Carolina's Horseshoe.
A grand opening is scheduled for Aug. 31 at the store located on Pendleton Street, below Cornel Arms Apartments.
Bubble Tea is a drink made of a variety of tea flavors served over sweet and chewy pearls called "bobas," which is made from tapioca starch, according to their website.
A ribbon cutting will be held at 4 p.m. on Aug. 28.
