Update: Deputies, SLED Officers Arrest Man Wanted for Murder
Law enforcement agencies catch Wayne Lamar Mobley in West Columbia.

Richland County deputies, Lexington County deputies and SLED officers arrested Wayne Lamar Mobley at 2426 Augusta Highway in West Columbia Thursday.Â
He was booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.Â
Mobley, 21, bonded out of jail last September after being held on two counts of murder, two counts of armed robbery, and two counts of trafficking cocaine, according to the Sheriff's Department.Â

On April 11, deputies suspect that Mobley, also known as "Chicken Wing," shot and killed Bobby Edwards at 1609 Winterwood Road.
Sheriff's deputies asked for citizens' help Wednesday in catching Mobley. They considered him armed and extremely dangerous and encouraged citizens to contact the Sheriff's department  if they had any information about his whereabouts.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott thanked citizens who called Crimestoppers to help get Mobley off the streets, according to a news release from the sheriff's department. Â
