Gamecocks Pep Rally Set for Thursday
Wild Wing Cafe hosts a rally featuring music, cheerleaders and Cocky.

The annual Wild Wing Street Party & Pep Rally returns to Wild Wing Cafe at the corner of Lady and Gadsden streets in the Vista on Thursday, Sept. 1.
Festivities, including a cornhole tournament, the Gamecock bounce house and live music from Tokyo Joe, will begin at 3:30 p.m.
The 2011 Baseball College World Series trophy will be available for photo opportunities between 5 and 6 p.m.

The Carolina dance team, Gamecock cheerleaders, Cocky and the marching band will join the party leading up to head coach Steve Spurrier’s weekly “Carolina Calls” talk show hosted by Gamecock great Todd Ellis. “Carolina Calls” broadcasts live from Wild Wing each week from 7-8 p.m. on the Gamecock Radio Network.
Gadsden Street will be closed off for the pep rally.

The Gamecocks kick off the football season Saturday, Sept. 3 vs. ECU at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. Tickets are still available on Ticketmaster.
