• SC woman attacks her kids, charged with attempted murder: Cops (thestate.com) — A violent overnight attack on two young children at a home in the Cowpens area has led to attempted murder charges against their mother, with both kids hospitalized but expected to recover. Deputies say the incident on Bud Arthur Bridge Road remains under investigation, and the suspect, who previously faced child endangerment charges, is being held in Spartanburg County Detention Facility pending court hearings.
