The Allstate Foundation grant was provided to support the nonprofit's work to establish youth development programs.

GREENVILLE, South Carolina, Nov. 1, 2017 – Twenty-one Allstate agency owners and financial specialists from Greenville and the surrounding area recently came together to secure a $21,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® grant to benefit the YMCA of Greenville. The grant will support the nonprofit organization’s mission to strengthen the community by providing educational and after-school programs for youth.

The agency owners and financial specialists each earned $1,000 for the YMCA of Greenville by organizing and planning after-school programs, preparing for summer camps and providing administrative support. Agency owners and financial specialists also collected books, puzzles and other items to support the organization’s summer and day camps and reading and after-school programs. YMCA of Greenville will use the $21,000 grant to further its work in the community.

The participating Allstate agency owners and financial specialists are among thousands of agency owners and financial specialists around the country working to strengthen communities by volunteering their time to support the causes they care about most.
