ā¢ GBI Arrests Five in Connection With 2022 Double Murder in Hartwell (921wlhr.com) ā Hartwell residents are learning that five people have been arrested after a fourāyear GBI investigation into a 2022 double shooting outside Jackās Bar and Grill, which led to the business closing and a major multiāagency probe. The suspects, including two Hartwell men, face felony murder and aggravated assault charges, and the case remains active as authorities seek additional information.
