• Car hauler overturns on I-85, closes state line bridge (nowgeorgia.com) — A tractor-trailer hauling cars overturned on the I-85 Lake Hartwell bridge at the Georgia–South Carolina line, closing all southbound lanes and spilling oil into the lake. During the closure, southbound drivers were routed through Toccoa onto Georgia Highway 17, then back to I-85 via Lavonia’s Exit 173. The wreck was expected to be cleared around midday Wednesday.
