Electric City Playhouse Seeking Donations for Animal Shelter

Electric City Playhouse is collecting donations for Anderson PAWS as part of the summer workshop, "Disney's 101 Dalmatians-Kids"

Electric City Playhouse (ECP) in Anderson is collecting donations for Anderson PAWS. Donations may be delivered to the theatre during the week of June 24 from 9am until 3pm, or during performances of the theatre's kids' summer camp show, "Disney's 101 Dalmatians-Kids". Shows are at 7pm on Friday, June 28 and at 10am on Saturday, June 29. While tickets to the show are no longer available due to selling out, community members may still stop by pre-show with donations for the animal shelter.

Additionally, the kids enrolled in the summer camp are crafting blankets/pads for the animals as part of workshop activities.

ECP is collecting the following items for PAWS, as well as gratefully accepting cash donations: Cat/kitten food (canned & dry); dog/puppy food (canned & dry); towels; large Kong toys; Nylabones; dish detergent; blankets.

Electric City Playhouse is located at 514 N. Murray Avenue in Anderson. ECP is celebrating its 35th year of providing community arts education and performance. Shows during this season are working with community partners to give back to the Anderson area as a "Thank you" for more than three decades of support.

Coming up in ECP's 2019 season are "The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood", "Moon Over Buffalo", and "Messiah on the Frigidaire". Additional shows are the interactive murder mystery, "You Have the Right to Remain Dead" (July 12 and 13 only), and the ECP Plus Show for Mature Audiences, "The Santaland Diaries" by David Sedaris.
