Registration Information For Students Who Left Greenville County Schools Last Year Or Are New To GCS
No action is needed if a student participated in the Virtual Program in 2020-21 and will attend in-person school this year.

Students who left Greenville County Schools in the 2020-21 school year and are planning to attend either in-person school or the Virtual Program in 2021-22 MUST re-register before the first day on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.

- This includes students who left GCS to be home-schooled, to attend a private school, or to attend a State charter school. It also includes students who are new to Greenville County Schools this year.
- No action is needed if a student participated in the Virtual Program in 2020-21 and will attend in-person school this year.
Parents should set up a Backpack account and click on “Enroll a New Student.” Follow the instructions to enroll your child in his or her home-based school.
Parents who wish to apply for the GCS Virtual Program should first register their child in their home-based school, then follow the instructions for registration in the Virtual Program.
