(islandpacket.com) — Hardeeville’s long-awaited Buc-ee’s near I-95 Exit 8 won’t open until after the massive interstate expansion wraps up in 2030, city officials say. Site clearing is underway on the 46-acre property off U.S. 278, where the travel center will anchor additional future retail. The $825 million I-95 project will add a diverging diamond interchange designed to ease heavy traffic through the area.
