Late stop helps May River over St. James (islandpacket.com) — Hilton Head Island High's football team grabbed a 28–14 road win over Christ Church in a rain-shortened game, bouncing back from its first loss. The roundup also tracks May River, Bluffton, Hilton Head Christian and other Lowcountry teams, plus notes that Hilton Head Island will host Camden next week, giving local fans a big home matchup to watch for.

- 🐾🏥 Heads up if you have a pet emergency this weekend: Carolina Veterinary Critical Care in Bluffton is closed Friday Sept 11 through Sunday Sept 13 while they move to their new location at 1188 Fording Island Rd.
Per their Facebook post, they reopen Monday, Sept 14 at 7am, 24/7, at the new address. Until then, New River Veterinary Specialists in Hardeeville … (Nextdoor Hilton Head Plantation II) - Have you seen marsh crabs?!
