• Ribbon cutting held for first phase of new school (savannahnow.com) — Hilton Head Island High School students are starting the year in a brand‑new $80 million, three‑story building that nearly doubles classroom space and adds a modern career and technology wing. Funded by a 2023 county bond, the first phase emphasizes flexible learning areas, outdoor classrooms, and design elements reflecting the island's natural beauty and Gullah heritage, with further renovations planned through 2029.
   

• Beaufort Co. School District breaks ground on newest CTE building at Bluffton High School (wtoc.com) — Hilton Head Island families will soon see major upgrades to local high school career and technical programs, as Beaufort County builds three new CTE facilities, including one at Hilton Head Island High School. Ground just broke on Bluffton High's 24,000‑square‑foot building, funded by a 2023 bond, which will expand hands‑on training options and better prepare students for high‑demand jobs across the county.
