Here's a brief update from the Greater Chapin Chamber of Commerce on some its upcoming activities and events.
The Greater Chapin Chamber of Commerce has a number of activities and projects planned in the coming weeks, and we wanted to provide you with a brief update.
The Chamber is currently conducting a Community Survey to learn more about what businesses and residents like about operating and living in the 29036 community. They're looking for the entire community’s feedback so please feel free to share this information with friends, co-workers, neighbors and others who may have an interest in our community’s well-being. Paper copies of the survey are also available at the Chamber House. The deadline to submit a survey is Tuesday, Jan. 31.

The results of the survey along with information on Chapin’s economic development efforts will be presented at a Community Summit scheduled for Thursday, March 8, at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church. More details about the Summit will be distributed in the coming weeks, so please mark your calendar and stay tuned for updates.

Erin Long Accounting & Consulting will welcome guests to her new Chapin offices located at 506B Old Lexington Highway in the Old Lexington Town Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony and reception on Thursday, Jan. 19, at 5:30 p.m.
HealthSource Chiropractic& Progressive Rehab Grand Opening will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house on Thursday, Jan. 26, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Located at 910 Chapin Road, visitors are encouraged to come by and meet Dr. Ashley Adamson and see her new Chapin office. Refreshments will be provided, and the first 25 guests will receive gift certificates for 30-minute therapeutic massages.
The deadline is fast approaching to advertise in the Chamber's 2012 Directory. The directory is mailed to more than 10,000 households and businesses in the 29036 community, covering Chapin, White Rock and Little Mountain. If you are interested in participating in this year's directory, please contact the Chamber at 803-345-1100 by this Friday, Jan. 20 to be included.
