Map shows where Flock, other cameras cover the Midlands (thestate.com) — Irmo is dramatically expanding its Flock license-plate camera network, tripling the number of cameras around town at a cost of $400,000, including near schools, parks, and major roads. A national map called DeFlock lets residents see where these and other Midlands cameras are placed, while privacy advocates push for more public awareness and possible limits on their use. 
• SC State Announces Forty Under 40 Class of 2026 (dillonnews.org) — South Carolina State University has named its Forty Under 40 Class of 2026, and Irmo is represented by honoree Krystal N. Brown from the Class of 2012. The awards spotlight young alumni across the country for professional success and community leadership, with this year's group to be celebrated during SC State's October homecoming week.
