Stephen and I met at Lander University. Maybe not love at first sight, but definitly caught each other's eye. Before I knew it we were exchanging numbers and on our first date. We became friends instantly and knew it was meant to be. We are best friends, and I couldn't ask for a better man!

October 20, 2012, will forever be a memorable day! Stephen and I went on a date to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, and enjoyed a fantastic dinner together. Conversations were about thier future together and how amazing it was that they had come so far with their relationship in such a short amount of time! Dating for about two years seemed like such a short time, as we both felt we had known each other forever. After topping off dinner with a fresh cup of coffee and ice cream (our favorite!), Stephen was becoming a little uneasy (like he was up to something!) and said he was ready to leave. He wanted to take me to my favorite place in Greenville, Falls Park. After a short stroll, we ran into Stephen's brother Michael, what in the world?? Before I could say one word, he was already down on one knee. "Jessica Chandler Chapman, will you marry me?". Are you kidding me? Of course! What girl could say no to such an amazing guy!

Oh wow, my ring is more than I could ever ask for. With a diamond studded band and princess cut stone, it is just perfect for me :) I did let him know what I wanted, but in the end, Stephen picked it out himself (making it that much more special).
