Common Core Exposed: Learn More about Common Core Standards

The
Midlands Parents Involved in Education (M-PIE) will meet Tuesday, July 9

from 6:30 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at the SCTA (4961 Broad River Road, Columbia,

29212).

PIE Advisory Board Member Jack Hatfield will be showing the power point

presentation, “Exposing Common Core”
which will provide an overview of what Common Core is, and what the problems are with the standards. This is a great opportunity to learn more about CCS so
we can work together to educate others  in our community. Please invite friends, family members, educators, administrators, house/senate members, and
anyone else you think can benefit from learning about CCS.

While
the presentation is the main focus of the meeting, we will also appoint working groups to ensure efficiency of group. We hope you are able to attend this important meeting, and that you will consider donating your time and talents to help us stop Common Core.
