Congaree Land Trust Fall Festival

The

Congaree Land Trust invites community members to enjoy a day of outdoor fun and

rich history at the annual Fall Festival at Goodwill Plantation. The Festival

will provide a variety of outdoor activities including bluegrass music by the

Blue Iguanas, a catered barbecue lunch, nature walks led by Dr. Austin Jenkins, paddling

on the mill pond, a mule plough contest, wagon tours of the property as well as

basket weaving and yarn spinning demonstrations. The Festival will also feature

a Children’s Brown Bag during the event for children, ages 5–12. Participants

will be treated to a guided nature hike, sack races and games, a hands-on

basket weaving lesson, and a brown bag snack. Tickets are $35 for members, $45

for non-members, $10 for children ages 5+, and free for children ages 4 and
