Deputies: Man Pushes Girlfriend From Vehicle After Argument Over Satanic Cult

Deputies say the man and his girlfriend were arguing about his involvement in a satanic cult when he pushed her from the vehicle on Williamson Court in Lexington.

Lexington County Sheriff's deputies arrested a West Columbia man accused of shoving his girlfriend out of a moving vehicle after an argument about his participation in a satanic cult, according to reports.

Donald Keith Smith, 30, is charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, according to booking reports. 

Witnesses in the 100 block of Williamson Court saw a man push Smith's girlfriend from the vehicle on May 28, according to a report in The State. Smith's girlfriend told deputies that the two were arguing about Smith's involvement in a Satanic cult and that he had stolen Xanax pills from her.

Smith's girlfriend was taken to the hospital after deputies learned that she lost conciousness from the fall, according to The State. She also suffered scrapes from the fall.

Smith is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center on a $15,000 cash bond.
