Deputies Search for Man Who Robbed Walmart

Lexington County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who stole cash from the at 1780 South Lake Drive near Lexington.

The man walked up to a cashier at the store around 4:36 p.m. Saturday, pulled out a silver revolver and demanded money, according to an incident report. The cashier handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. 

The man left the store, walked across the parking lot toward Lowe's and was picked up by someone in a white extended-cab, short-bed pickup truck, according to the report. 

Surveillance video shows that the man also came from the Lowe's parking lot and entered the store through the garden entrance, according to the report.

The man is described as white, between the age of 45 and 55, between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet tall, according to the sheriff's department. He weighs between 190 pounds and 210 pounds.

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing black tennis shoes, white socks, light or tan-colored shorts, a light orange or pink sleeveless shirt, a light blue baseball cap and sunglasses, according to the report.
