Enhanced Lexington Traffic Patrols Begin Thursday

Deputies and state troopers will be cracking down in the following areas later this week

The Lexington County Sheriff's Department has announced the latest roadways where it will conduct stepped up traffic patrols, which will begin Thursday morning and run through next Wednesday, Oct. 26.

Deputies, along with S.C. Highway Patrol troopers, will be cracking down on speeders, as well as reckless and drunken drivers.

The targeted roadways include: Caro Lane, Emmanuel Church Road, Leaphart Road, Ephrata Drive, Wren Road, Basil Road, Cedar Grove Road, Windmill Road, Swansea Road, Sharpes Hill Road
