Enhanced Lexington Traffic Patrols Begin Thursday

The Lexington County Sheriff's Department has announced the latest roadways where it will conduct stepped up traffic patrols, which are scheduled to begin Thursday morning and run through next Wednesday, Nov. 2.

Deputies, along with S.C. Highway Patrol troopers, will be cracking down on speeders, as well as reckless and drunken drivers.

The targeted roadways include: Emory Lane, Fox Crossing Road, Lee Kleckley Road, St. Davids Church Road, Sid Bickley Road, Augusta Highway, Blackville Road, Cape Jasmine Way, Bluefield Road, and McCartha Road
