The Lexington County Sheriff's Department has announced the latest roadways where it will conduct stepped up traffic patrols, scheduled to run through next Wednesday, Oct. 12. Deputies, along with S.C. Highway Patrol troopers, will be cracking down on speeders, as well as reckless and drunken drivers. The targeted roadways include: Berl-Mar Road, Cedarcrest Drive, Fernandina Road, Murraywood Drive, Whiteford Way, Zenker Road, U.S. Highway 321, Pelion Road, Fallaw Road, and Boiling Springs Road. For specific dates and times of the increased patrols, <a href="http://www.lex-co.com/sheriff/media.aspx?mid=1289" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">click here</a>:  Be warned: While these are the announced roadways for the following week, Lexington Sheriff James Metts said they are subject to change without notice.
