The Shepherd's Center of Lexington is sponsoring a Belgian waffle breakfast fundraiser, Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce member ribbon cutting and "Celebration of Opening" on Friday, Nov. 2, starting at 8 a.m. at Lexington United Methodist Church.
$7 donation payable at door. Registration will also be held on Nov. 2 for the lifelong learning courses scheduled for Thursday mornings from Jan. 10 through March 14, 2013.
The Shepherd's Center of Lexington (a nonprofit organization) advocates positive and healthful aging, recognizing older adults have significant experience and wisdom to offer communities and that giving back, through volunteerism, is enriching and rewarding.
