As a teacher, you have the opportunity to make a positive impact on your community while building a rewarding career for yourself. You can become a teacher by getting certified with The American Board, and it’s faster, cheaper, and easier than you might think.
Through our program, individuals without education-studies backgrounds, but a bachelor's degree from an accredited university and a commitment to student achievement, are able to earn professional certification in a timely manner and bring their passion and dedication to the classrooms that need them most (STEM grades 9-12). The American Board is recognized by the SC Department of Education as an official route to teacher licensure.
