Hit and Run Suspect Turns Self In
Romero Romero Jr. is suspected in the death of a Pelion Woman last week.

The man suspected in the hit and run death of Irma Hudson of Pelion is in custody after he turned himself in on Sunday, WIS-TV reports.
Romero allegedly struck and killed Hudson last Wednesday as the 59-year-old woman stepped out of her truck to retrieve trash that had flown out of the back of her vehicle.
After being hunted for days, WIS reported that Romero had been stopped for speeding shortly after the fatal collision and was let go with a ticket because investigators had not yet gotten the word out about the accident.
