Latest Lexington Traffic Countdown Announced
Patrols will heat up on these roadways over the next week
The Lexington County Sheriff's Department has announced the latest roadways where it will conduct stepped up traffic patrols, which are scheduled to begin Thursday morning and run through next Wednesday, Nov. 23.
Deputies, along with S.C. Highway Patrol troopers, will be cracking down on speeders, as well as reckless and drunken drivers.
The targeted roadways include: YMCA Road, Windy Wood Road, Whetstone Road, U.S. Highway 378 West, Smith Pond Road, E. Steele Road, Gardendale Drive, Hallsborough Drive, Indian Fork Road, and Mineral Springs Road.
