Latest Lexington Traffic Crackdown Announced
Patrols will heat up on the following roadways over the next week.
The Lexington County Sheriff's Department has announced the latest roadways where it will conduct stepped up traffic patrols, which are scheduled to begin Thursday morning and run through next Wednesday, Feb. 22.
Deputies, along with S.C. Highway Patrol troopers, will be cracking down on speeders, as well as reckless and drunken drivers.
The targeted roadways include:
- Amicks Ferry Road
- Delree Street
- Harbor Drive
- Woodberry Road
- Sidney Road
- Augusta Highway
- Charter Oak Road
- Hass Lucas Road
- YMCA Road
- Counts Ferry Road
Check here for specific dates and times of the increased patrols on particular roadways.
Be warned: While these are the announced roadways for the following week, Lexington Sheriff James Metts said they are subject to change without notice.
