Lexington 3 Bus Driver Charged with DUI
No injuries reported after driver strikes another bus in Batesburg-Leesville Elementary pick-up line.

A 61-year-old Lexington 3 bus driver described as a "model employee" will face DUI charges after he struck another bus on Thursday, The State reported.
Walter Davidson struck the bus, which was in line to pick up students at Batesburg-Leesville Elementary School. The bus that Davidson struck then hit the bus in front of it, the paper reported.
"Results of a blood-alcohol test he took were not immediately available. But Police Chief Wallace Oswald said “it was obvious” that Davidson had consumed alcoholic beverages" the paper said.
