Lexington Authorities Make Arrests

The Lexington County Sheriff's Department said they have arrested two fugitives from their 'most wanted' list in the past week (photos at right).

Virginia Ann Pierce, 33, of 1168 Kittie Drive, Lexington, turned herself in on Nov. 12 at the Lexington County Detention Center on an arrest warrant for a charge of criminal domestic violence.

In addition, David Matthews, 38, of 3596 Charleston Highway, Lot 48, West Columbia, was arrested on Nov. 8, and also faces a charge of criminal domestic violence, the department reported.
