
The Lexington Wildcats football team, which wrapped up an historic 11-0 regular season on Friday night over White Knoll, earned the third seed in the AAAA Division 1 playoffs, according to unofficial pairings from GoUpstate, the Web site of the Spartanburg Herald-Journal.
The Wildcats will open the playoffs at home next Friday against the Blythewood Bengals, whom Lexington beat in the second game of the season, 52-17.
