Lexington Girls XC Finish 2nd in State
The lack of a strong fifth-place finisher cost the Wildcats a chance at the title.

Lexington High School's fans and cross country teams were out in full force Saturday morning at the state cross country meet.
But while the boys team easily won its third straight AAAA championship, the girls finished second.
The Wildcats first four finishers scored better than the first four of Wando, which won the state title.
